POLICEMAN'S FIST KILLS STUDENT.
SEQUEL TO FRENCH ELECTION. (Received 31. 9.5 a.m.) London, March 30. “The Times” Paris correspondent states that following the announcement of the result of a by-election, in which Communists were victorious, 2000 students marched to the Ministry of the Interior, shouting: “Hang Malvy!” The police quelled the demonstration. During the melee a student was hit between the eyes by a policeman’s fist and died.—(Times).
