PRISONERS SENTENCED.
Wellington, March 30. Mr. Justice Reed, in the Supreme Court, sentenced the following prisoners:—Leslie Albert Blucher, aged 18, for theft of a motor cycle at Palmerston North, three years’ reformative detention; Michael Patrick Somers, aged 19, lor theft from a dwelling at Palmerston North, two years’ probation; Arthur Clyburn, aged 42, for obtaining by valueless cheques at Auckland/ and £2O at Nelson, five years ago, three years’ probation and restitution of £l6 to be made at 19 - weekly; William Clifford Ballam, aged 19, for obtaining £ll ]O/6 and £1.5 at Palmerston North by valueless cheques, three years’ probation with a special condition that restitution be made. •
