AUSTRALIAN SHIPPING STRIKE.
NO SETTLEMENT YET. Sydney, March 29. The coastal steamship owners continued tho conference with representatives of the transport group in an endeavour to settle the strike, but after lengthily considering tho dispute the owners announced that unless a new body could be formed with leaders different. to the present Seamen’s Union they regretted that a settlement could not he reached.
