PUTTING THE CLOCK ON.

SUPPORT FROM HOSPITAL BOARD. “The bogey with the daylight saving h:\s always been the objection of the farmers, but in my experience ». can says that there is no objection to the intrduction of daylight saving as far as the farmers are concerned,” said Mr C. B. Robinson, at the Wellington Hospital .Board on Thursday when a letter from the Sports Protection League sought the support of the board to the alteration of the clock throughout New Zealand. The Farmers’ Union was neutral when the matter was brought before it. The chairman (Mr C. M. Luke) said the Hospital Committe was in accord with the project, and he was pleased to hear a farmer giving it his support. The board decided to place its support behind the daylight saving movement.
