WEDDING.

CHATWIN—DUNE. A wedding of considerable interest to Hastings people was solemnised at St. Mary’s Church, Waipukurau, on Wednesday morning, when Canon E. 1 1). Rice united in the bonds of holy matrimony Kathleen, eldest granddaughter of Mr .and Airs. H. H. Bone, “Uaklands,” Hastings, and George Lothair, second son of Mr. and Airs. IG. W. Chatwin, of Pahiatua. The bride resided for some time in the Hastings West district, and is well known in that district. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. A. V. D’Anvers, looked charming in a mole garbardine costume, smart felt hat with shoes and stocking to match, the whole set off by a beautiful fur choker. In attendance upon her as bridesmaid was Alias Eunice Chatwin, of Pahiatua, sister of the bridegroom, she wore a blue pan velvet dress. Mr. Chatwin, of .Te Kuiti, discharged ? duties of best man. Mrs. A. V. Anvers, aunt of the bride, looked charming in a blue hopsack coat frock, with grey trimmings and grey hat. Mrs. Tiffin, aunt of the bride, wore navy marocain. Mrs. G. W. Chatwin, wore a nice costume frock. Miss D. (.hatwin, sister of the bridegroom, wore appropriate dress. Mr. and Mrs. Bone, of Hastings, were unable to he present owing to indisposition. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the Kosy Tearooms, Mr. and Airs. A. V. D’Anvers acting as host and hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Chatwin left by the mail this morning for the south, where they will spend their honeymoon.
