DIRIGIBLES IN COMMERCE.
LONG DISTANCE PASSENGER FLIGHTS. (Received 4, 9.30 p.m.) New York, May 3. Mr P. E. D. Nagle, a transports tion specialist assigned by the Commerce Department to tiavel with the dirigible Los Angeles during the recent test flight to Bermuda, will report that future commercial service with lighter than air ships lies in long distance pas senger carriage over land and water such as in the proposed Chicago-New York and London-Berlin route. The vessels should be constructed with gas cells con taining 6,000,000 to 10,000,000 cubic feet—compared with 2,700,000 of the Los Angeles.—(Reuter).
