CHRISTCHURCH CRIMINAL SESSIONS.

Christchurch, Nov. 17. The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court opened this morning when the Judge commented on the serious nature of several of the charges, including one of attempted murder against John Jeffreys. The trial is now proceeding of Gertrude Grace Bell, a married woman, on a charge of illegal use of an instrument on a girl.
