The Board of Directors of the Wellington Technical College has resolved (1) hat application be made to Government for the issue of debentures, as has been done in the case of Pukekohe, Hamilton and Masterton ,to the amount of £40,000, so that particular portions of the building may be completed, and provision made for cookery, dressmaking and needlework. (2) That a strong protest be made against the refusal of the Department to make the statutary £1 for £1 subsidy on moneys raised for the new buildings, on the ground that this was included in the previous Government grant.”
