“DAILY MAIL” PRIZE FOR GLIDERS. (Received 24, 9.25 a.m.) London. August 22. The “Daily Mail” has ottered, under the auspices of the Royal Aero Club, £lOOO as a prize for a flight of longest duration over half an hour in connection with gliding, motorless ’planes. The prize is open to airmen of any nationality. Larger prizes and more searching tests are promised.—(United Service.)
