MELBOURNE’S PROCESSION BAN.
DEFIED ON ST. PATRICK’S DAY. (Received 20. 11.10 a.m.) Melbourne, March 20. Despite the Citv Council’s resolution prohibiting a procession on St. Patrick’s Day, the committee CQnducted an immense procession through the city’s streets. The police took the names of several leaders with a view te possible prosecution.—(A. and N.Z.)
