AUSTRALIA'S TARIFF.
MR. STEWART SUBMITS SCHEDULE. PREFERENCE FOR IRELAND. (Received 20, 11.10 a.m.) Melbourne, March 20. Whilst the Hon. Dowpie Stewart’s tariff proposals are not disclosed, it is understood that he submitted a schedule of articles whereon preference should be given. The Federal Cabinet is . shortly considering trade relationship between Ireland and Australia, as part of the United Kingdom. Ireland is included in the British preferential tariff, which continues pending arranging reciprocal agreements on the election of the Irish Parliament.
