(Own Correspondent). Mr. R. W. Dyer, S.M.. presided over n sitting of the Magistrate’s Court nt Waipukurriu on Friday, 10th inat. The following by-lnw cases were dealt with: —County Ranger v. Alex McKenzie. —Allowing n. horse to wander on the Wniistoad road.—Fined 5/, with costs amounting to £2 5/3.—Folice v. W. Renton, for driving a motor car at an excessive speed.—Fined £5 and costs.—Police v. Robot tom for excessive speed.—£-j and costs. —Police v. Stenberg, for excessive speed.—£s and costs. Judgment Summonses.-- P. O'Reilly v. William Sargisoti. Debtor stated that he was the father of seven children. An -leei lcnl had laid him aside for 13 months. Mad leeeivod £l5O accident insurance. Is now paying £1 per week for rent. Of the £l.lO, £lO went tn legal expenses, and £4O in. doctor’s fees.---The Court would not make an ordi r. Alleged Slander.— House v.
