Owing to the great demand for tickets for Chaplain Read's lantern I lecture entitled “50,000 Miles on a Hospital Ship,” it has been decided to engage the new Municipal As- ■ sembly Hall for Tuesday night next. Besides being a vivid and instruct i tive presentation of an aspect of war f work in which all are interested, the lecture is a revelation of the extent to which raedical science and surgical skill, combined with devoted nursing, are made available to wounded soldiers.
