On tne suggestion oi Mr. McGrath tne secretary was instructed to report as io tne cost of erecting a halttide weir in the small lagoon at the Fort. He pointed out that this would keep water always m the lagoon, and would tuns abate any nuisance.

Tenders for an electric light installation for snips’ holds were nut opened, Mr. Beattie stating that the Borough Council was unable to supply current. On the motion or Air. J. A’. Brown, moved by Mr. McGrath, it was decided to invest, when available, all accretions for sinking funds. A notice of motion by Mr. Brown, asking for information regarding the AA’aikaka, was held over till, next meeting. The chairman’s motion regarding the “C.D.K.” was also held over till neyf meeting. <
