PRINCESS THEATRE, HASTINGS

The filial screening of the current programme will take place to-night. The principal drama, “(Vest AVind,” is a 3000 ft. Vitagrapli production, featuring Ned Finlay and Eleanor Woodruff, hi this picture soldiers on a punitive expedition against the warring Sioux find a girl named “West AVind” who had been abducted from her father’s ranch by a rascally half-breed cowboy. The many exciting events that ioLow, including the rescue of West Wind, make this picture one which grips the audience throughout. The auxiliary subjects include two pictures of great interest, “How a Motor Cycle is Made” and “The International Censoring of Mails,” the latter showing how innocent looking parcels and newspapers when unfolded, reveal gold and valuable jewellery. Every character is perfectly drawn, the roll of Jaffery Cheyne being filled by the distinguished English actor, C. Aubrey Smith. There is heart interest in abundance, and altogether “Jaffery” is a fine picture, magnificently presented.
