Sir, —Your correspondent “Sanitation” appears to be under the false impression that I am the writer of a letter which appeared in a recent issue of your paper, under the nom-de-plume of “Vegetation,” and I should like, through the medium of your columns, to state that never yet have I been drawn into newspaper controversy, nor, whilst holding, my present position, or one of a similar nature, do I intend to commence such a practice, having too much other business to attend to.
