CASUALTIES.
DROWNED IN THE HARBOUR. Wellington, Nov. 6. A boating fatality occurred in Evan’s Bay on Sunday, when Clarence Dawson, aged 19 years, .was drowned. Dawson was out sailing in a 14ft. boat, and when trying to .adjust the mainsail the halyards broke and Dawson fell overboard and was drowned. The body has been recovered. It is believed the deceased was an engine cleaner employed by the Railway Department.
