BOWLING.
HASTINGS CLUB. The fine weather on Saturday attracted a fair number of players to this green. The green was in splendid oredr and some interesting play resulted. Dainty afternoon tea was dispensed by Airs. Whitehead. Following are the results of the games : — West, Kilford, Hogan, King 21; Sinclair, Hay, McLeod and Holt 20. Pointon, Garnett, Pickering, Land 27; Wilson, Monk, Horton, Murlcy 1-1. Gardner, Horne, Claridge, Baird 21; Pitcaithley, Uottle, Russt’l Waters 12. Clarkson, Thompson 13 ; Turner, Tonkin 15. ST. LEONARD’S CLUB. A rink from the Port Ahuriri Club visited this green on Saturday and after a well contested game the visitors proved the victors by four points. Mrs. G. F. Roach dispersed afternoon tea. Results : — Port Ahuriri.— Burdett, Balfour, Creagh, F. J. Smith, 22; St Leonards.—Hay, Grenside, Flowers, Herbison 18. ORDINARY GAMES. Sorenson, Wellwood, Lincoln, Davis, 22; Lynch, Brown, Colello, Hughes 17. Parker, Griffiths, 25; Beeson, Banks 15. Ellingham, Knight, 19; Alexander Dodge 17.
