I TREATERS, CONSUMERS AND ; SUPPLIERS FINED. ; Auckland, Oct, 25. ■' The first eases under the anti--1 shouting provisions of the War Regulations Act were heard in the ; Police Courtz by Mr. Frazer,, the . hearing lasting until late in the evening. In respect to the Waitemata Hotel, Nellie Goiss was fined £5 for receiving payment in respect to a “treat” and Michael Ranlich ana George McNeil were each fined £5 for “shouting” and Nicholas Tolich George Sulich and Norman Eade were "fined a similar amount for ! “consuming.” The charge against the licensee, J. Endean, was disJ missed. ’ With regard to the Commercial , Hotel. Herbert Morris, barman was ; fined £lO for “selling” and George Edwards was fined £lO for “shouting.” The charge against the licensee. YValter King, was adjourned ; ; till Friday. t i ' With respect to the Waverley Hotel Thomas Jaincis Evans was fined £5 for shouting and charges against the barman, Una Aitken, and the licensee, A.
