APPEAL FOR ANOTHER 100,000 MEN. CLIMAX OF WAR APPROACHING. (REUTER’S TELEGRAMS.] (Received 25, 2.40 p.m.) Ottawa, Oct. 24. Sir Robert Borden, Canada’s Premier, in a stirring appeal for another 100,000 enlistments, says : “The climax of the war is rapidly approaching and Canada’s last 100,000 may be a deciding factor. Canada’s manhood must answer the challenge if the nation is to have an abiding place in the future. Hitherto the enlistments have been more rapid than the means of transportation, but during the last few months the recruiting has greatly decreased.
