NAPIER. “MY SWEETHEART.” The second performance of , “My Sweetheart” will be given in the Napier Municipal Theatre next Saturday evening. The excellent presentation of the piece last Monday evening stands as a testimonial to the capabilities of Napier’s amateurs. The next staging of “My Sweetheart” should again attract an audience of similar dimensions to that which witnessed the first effort. The plot, is attractive and interesting without being sensational, and easily holds the attention of an audience throughout the three acts. The cast for Saturday evening is similar to that of last Monday. The proceeds are to go to the fund now being raised to provide Xmas gifts for the soldiers at the front. The plan is at Howe’s. A GREAT INDUSTRIAL FILM. The management of the Municipal Theatre have received the exclusive rights for this town of what is described to be the greatest educational and industrial film yet brought to tins Dominion. The film is three thousand feet in length and shows the whole of the enormous plant and staff that is engaged daily pouring out the famous Ford Motor Cars at the Canadian Factory at Ontario. Every important question in the making of motor cars from the pouring of the castings to the final touches on the finished car is shown. The pictures include a panorama of the factory buildings as well as interior views in all departments. A huge drill boring forty-one holes into a casting at one time from four different directions is an eye-opener to engineers. Other] interesting machinery showing the handling of parts without the aid of operators ana a bell rings when the parts are completed. The powerful mono-rail running on a single overhead track is shown in a panorama of the huge machine shop, which is 705 feet long, will all its machines running at J full swing. This picture will be shown for three days only at the Municipal Theatre, commencing to-night. , Seats can be reserved at Pratt’s. Prices as usual.
