TO THX EDITOR. Sir, —There are several large two story boarding-houses in this borough, filled with boarders, who sleep there, without fireescapes. In case of fire there might be serious loss of life. In any cases also the sanitary state of Hastings generally is not as it should be. —Your insertion may be PRO BONO.
