A post mortem revealed that M. Alphonse Bertillon’s br aip weighed •1,525 grammes, or 165 grammes above the. average. . . .. . [M. Bertillion was one of the best authorities on anthropology. He was also the head of. the identification, department in the prefecture of police at Paris. He published numerous works on thte science which he had made the study of his life].
