ILL-TREATMENT OF NATIVES.

The Association for the Protection of Native Races, discussed the alleged ill-treatment of the natives of the New Hebrides, and .decided to bring the circumstances under the notice of the Admiral, the Minister of External Affairs, the High Commissioner of the Western Pacific and the Secretary of State for the Colonies with the view of preventing such abuses of justice as are alleged to have occurred at a sitting of the Joint Naval Commission held at Villa in December last;
