MEMBERSIIIP CAMPAIGN. V.bh the junior members of'the Y.M.C.A. gro'.iped in one team, the directors in another, the gymnasium men in another, and so on, the present effort to increase the membership of the Y.M.C.A. by at least 100 has created much friendly rivalry. At the close of the first day 31 new members and 57 poifnts had been scored by the competing teams, the reds (Lowry) coming first with 23 points and 10 members, the pinks (Haines) second with 14 points and G now recruits. The blue team (Miliar. captain) is third witli 11 points. Ijiit stands first in the number of names secure*! —12. The orange team (James) has 4 points and 2 names, and the whites (Cunnold) have scored one new member. The campaign is alreadv resulting in several organisations for which men have been lacking up lo tlie present. An indicator showing the progress of the eampa’gn has Been erect r, d over the verandah at the Y.M.C.A.
