The “Daily Telegraph" states that the Cabinet has drafted a scheme for the reform of the House of Lords, but it will not be introduced in the coming session. IRISH LAND PURCHASE. London, March 9. The “Observer" anticipates that Mr. Birrell’s bill to expedite Irish land purchase will mean an increase of £6,000,000 for the ensuing year. REDMOND’S HOME RULE FUND. London, March 9. Mr. Redmon is appealing for further financial support for the Home Rule funds. , SUFFRAGE BILL. London, March 9. Parliament has prorogued. A private bill will be introduced next session embodying the principle of Mr. Dickenson’s suffrage amendment. THE TRADES BOARD ACT. (Received 10, 9.5 a.m.) London, March 9. The Bishop of* Oxford presided at a demonstration in Queens Hall, London, in favour of extension or the Trades Board Act. A resolution was passed urging Government tc extend its scope.
