ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS.

SUICIDE OF AN ATHLETE. Auckland, Feb. 10. Charles Knox, commission agent, who was found yesterday on the floor of his office with a bullet wound in the head, and was removed to the hospital in an unconscious condition, died last evening. The deceased was the son of a pioneer settler of the Hamilton district and well known in Auckland as an athlete and footballer in his young days. He was unmarried.
