BOWLING.
NAPIER GREEN. A match between rinks of the Napier club and the Waipawa club was played on the Napier club’s green yesterday afternoon, the visitors being the guests of the club. Tea was provided by Mrs Gibson. Following are the scores;— Napier. Waipawa. K. Beecham Whittington E. Beecham Ferguson Williamson Nash Ricketts (s) 26 Murray (s) 15 Other matches were played, but no cards were handed in.
A match will be played on the Napier club’s green this morning between the Napier and Woodville clubs. The latter club have played matches With the Dannevirke and Hastings clubs. They will return home this afternoon, hence the match has to be played this morning.
