WOODVILLE.

[OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Miss Rhoda Rapley, a well-known Woodville young lady, was married to Mr T. Grammer, of Ashhurst, at St. David’s, Church, on Wednesday, by the Rev. S. Hill. A sitting of the Native Appellate Court began on Tuesday, before Chief Judge Davey and Judge Batham. Argument was heard in the Tahoraiti Block No. 2 case, Mr Hone Heke acting as assessor. Mr A. L. D. Fraser appeared for the appellants. Judgment was reserved. Judge Brabant will sit with Chief Judge Davey to hear the Tahoraiti Block No. 1 case.
