December 24. (Per Zealandia, 1 p.m.) For Wellington and Southern offices. (Per Friday’s express, 7 p.m.) Late fee at train Friday morning. For Ceylon, China, India, Straits Settlements, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Brindisi (due London, January 31st). Also, Australia (due Sydney, December 29th). (Per Talune, 7 p.m.) For Gisborne, Auckland, and Australia • (due Sydney, January 2nd). Saturday, December 26th, At 8 a.m. For Fiji, Canada, United States, United Kingdom, via Vancouver, connecting with Moura at Auckland (specially addressed only). Friday, December 25th, being a postoffice holiday, all brandies of the postoffice will be closed. A delivery of letters will take place over the public counter. Chief Post-office, between the hours of 7,30 and 8-30 p.m. on Thursday, December 24th. Mails for despatch on Friday, December 25th, will close at 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 24th. On Saturday, December 26th (Boxing Day), the post-office will be open in all its branches (except Money Order and Savings Bank) between the hours of 9 and 10 a.m. only. J. H.
