Eocolved July 19, 4 p.m. Hong Kong, July 19. Li Hung Chang, in an interview with Sir H. A. Blake, Governor of Hong Kong, to-day, stated that the Chinese are preparing a camp behind the Bogus forts, commanding the entrance to Canton. A force of a hundred thousand Chinese, armed with Mausers and improved modern artillery, is within 30 miles of Shanghai. They threaten to seize Shanghai if the Woosung forts, commanding the entrance to the river, are attacked. The Chinese in the provinces of Chilei, Shantung, and Shansee are apparently massing with a view to defending Peking from attaok.
