[b_ TELEGRAPH.] Auckland, Friday At a meeting of the Government and Opposition members to-night it was decided to form an Auokland party to take united action on all matters affeoting the interests of Auckland, more especially as regards the expenditure of public money. Only a few were present, but many others wrote expressing approval of the proposal, and the convener (Mr Napier) stated that the co-operation of II out of 16 Euro- • pean Auokland members was assured. The party will hold weekly meetings during the session of Parliament.
