FOR SOUTH AFRICA.
Wellington, Friday. The Ormazan takes away to South Africa 602 horses, of which 200 have been bought by the Imperial Government and the rest are for the New Zealanders. Most of them were supplied by the Otago committee. Fifty-four grooms go in charge of the horses. Most of them intend to enlist in South Africa. The steamer also takes a number of khaki-painted waggons for transport purposes.
