The ever-popular Pollard Company are to be with us for a week, starting with "Paul Jouea" on Monday night. Mr Tom Pollard haa always been a favorite in Hastings, and received the moot welcome, to him, of appreciations, crowded houses. This perhaps is the reason for his putting up & record engagement of the theatre. The booking for the first night's performance is extremely good. Whilst on the subject of tho theatre : That building is to ba Bold on Tuesday ut 2 o'clock by Mr Aleck Latin. If it fetches anything like a reasonable) amount, the shareholders, the majority of whona have moat apathetically allowed a'finabui'ding to slip through their fingers, may yet rt« C6lva a dividend— say of a few coppers iv the pound. There aro three or four Klchmonds in the field anxious to accomplish a purchase. Early in August we may expect anothar fashionable wedding.
