At our fortnightly sale of wool, sheopskins, hides, and tallow to-day, there was the usual attendance of locaT buyers, 'and we offered a good catalogue tho greater portion ol whioh was cleared. Biddings for all lines were brisk, and prices obtained were about on a par with those ruling at our last sale, with the exception of wool, which showed further improvements. Wool.— Crossbred dead brought up to GJd cratehinga 33d, and second pieces 3]d per lb. SheepsSina,— Fine and ordinary crossbred and half -bred realised up to old ; crossbred hornets, Bid ; merino, halt-woolled, 3jd per lb and pelts; 7d each. MESSRS WENLEY AND LANADZE'S KEPOBT. We to-day held our usual fortnightly sale of wool, sheepskins, &c Wo offered 23 baleE and 19 bags wool, 1633 sheepskins, SG hides, and 23 packages tallow. Wool.— Prices remain on a par with last sale. Rough crossbred stragglers Bold up to 63d; medium crutchings Id, inferior 2jd to S}d. Sheepskins,— Somo very nice lines came forward, and our catalogue contained abettor selection than usual. Prlsca remained the same as at last sale, but competition was hardly so keen. Very superior half-breda and orossbredß fetched up to old, fair quality and "length sd; crossbred hoggets of good quality, Sd; double fleece, liS: black, 3Jd; medium station-saved croßsbreds and halfbretts, 4ja. Hides.— Prices oont-inue firm. Wo quote:— Heavy ox 4Jd. mediura ox id. light ox 33d; heavy cow SJd, medium cow 3}d, light cow 3Jd ; superior calf sklua, 4d. Tallow.— Medium mutton, £17 10s per ton ; rough Btation fat, lid per lb. Our next sale will be held on Thursday, 22nd August. HAWSE'S BAY FAKMESS 1 CO-OPERATIVE ASSOCIATION, wiuted's, repoijt. We presented a fair catalogue to the usual attendance of buyers, in Messrs C. B. Hoadley and Co.'s rooms, this afternoon, when prices obtained for ekins were on a par with those ruling at last sale; all good lines, especially where pelts have been carefully saved under cover, being eagerly competed for. Oddments of wool an-J hides brought full rates. Our next sale will be held on Thursday, 22nd instant. MESSES WILLIAMS AND KETTLE, LIMITED's, REPORT. We held our periodical sale of wool, skins, hides, and tallow to-day, when wo offered and sold 20 bales of wool, 2575 skins, 71 hides, and 2 packages of tallow. Tho usual buyers were in attendance. Bidding for wool was sot as brisk as at our last Baio. Sklne, however, were well competed for, and although no special lots were offered wo realised prices quite equal to last sales' values. Hides maintained late prices. We realised the following prices:— WooL — Crossbred inferior sid. dead inferior 6d ; crutchingß, from 2jd for inferior to Sid for medium up to lid for good ; locks, ljd to 2d. Skins,— Medium crossbred, from 3Jd to 4Jd ; good long wool and well saved from 4Jd to ijd ; half-bred and crossbred fine Hi to Sid ; merino, up to 4Jd ; hoggets, from 4jd to old ; and for one lot of extra long wool sha. Hides,— Heavy ox, rather wet ijd, medium it& i cow, light 2Jd. heavier 3Jd ; calf, 4d. Tallow.— ln small packages, lid. We hold oor next sale on the 22nd instant.
