The Hawke's Bay Farmers' Co-operative Association, Limited, report on their Btock sale at Hastings on Wednesday last:— ln spite of the wretched day there was a good muster ol buyers. We offered a magnificent draft) of fat bullockß and cows from Maraeknkaho station, and without a doubt they were the primest beef that have ever been offered under the hammer In Hawke's Bay, and notwithstanding their quality we had to send 25 head back, and this we put down to the number being in excess of the demand. Our sales were made up as follows :— Account Maraekakaho : 5 head fat bullockß £3 17s 6d each, 20 head ditto £6 15s 6d each, 5 head fat cows £5 15s each, 6 head ditto ce 5 12s 6d each. Account clients: Cows to calve £4 to «6, weaners £1 10s.
