TRAINING NOTES. (BY TELEGUAPn.) Auckland, Thursday. .Large numbers of visitors were present on the Ellerslie course this morning. Liberator, aftor traversing oue round on the oontao proper wds jolucd by Esparto, the pair putting lv a round at racing pace. Liberator had his companion in tronble at the finish, Ebor and Norton were associated together in a couple of rounds on the same track At their bent pace. Norton had a deal tbe best of the gallop, Union Jack and Belle put in a couple of stroDg rounds on the tan, Belle iinhhing brat of the p-tir. Fishmonger compassed three rounds of the tan at a sound pace. Bonovoree did steady work. Amalgam and Strayshot were restricted to half pace work King John and Variety were schooled over bnrdles ; the last named jumped very badly. Kildare and Levanter compassed two circuits of tan at about three-quarter speed. Kathleen and Clayton did slow work. The pooy Clayton, engaged in tha Pony Hntdlo Race, failed to pass the standard this morning. Ladybird was struck oat of the Grand National Hurdle Knee.
