Te Anau arrived on Saturday from Northern ports at 5 a.m. She was tendered ' as usual for mails, passengers, and cargo. The Waihl took off the outward mails and passengers, &c, at 2 p.m., and the Te Anau - - proceeded on her voyage an hour later. ■ The s.s. Australia arrived from Northern ports early on Saturday morning, and was brought Inside to a berth at the breastwork, where she discharged a quantity of cargo, and went alongside the Balcarres Brook in the ' ..afternoon to tranship 100 bales of wool from Waipiro. The Australia proceeded to Lyttelton instead of to Wellington as usual, having taken about 300 pigs for that place. ' Thes.3. Wairarapa anchored in the bay at ■ / 11.30 ajn. on Saturday. She was tendered by • the- Trusty and Admiral for cargo. The Waihl took off the outward mails and passengers at 5 and 7 p.m., and the Wairarapa steamed on her way Inter on. . ' The Hersehel got away with a nice off - shore breeze at 2 a.m. on Saturday. The. ' wind, however, shortly died away to a flat , calm.
