Margoliouth will sell at his mart next Wednesday morniDg two consignments of trees and shruba. Messrs C B. Hoadley and Co. make k additions to the list of properties which „? they will offer at their land sale next i Friday afternoon. Plans of the Hastings i town sections can now be obtained at the auctioneers' offices at Hastings and Napier, Accounts due to Messrs Knight Bros., Hastings, must be paid before the 30th instant, A public meeting of the friends of the late John Sheehan will be held in the Town Hall next Monday evening. Mr Frank W. Garner, Deputy Assignee, inserts a list of debtors whose bankruptcy has been declared closed. Waverley's consultation will close next Monday. An advertisement is inserted of interest to John Cameron, of Saltwater Creek, Canterbury. Miss Magill, dress and costume maker, has removed to the rooms above Messrs Magill and Campbell's, Emerson-street. Messrs David Palmer and Co., clothiers, &c, Hastings-street, announce a clearing sale. Messrs Hardy and Sidey announce having opened up a choice selection in cruet stands and teapots, of which they invite inspection. Particulars are inserted respecting Fidelity Company's consultation on the Melbourne Cup. Messrs Knight Bros., Hastings, have for sale SO tons potatoes and 100 tons chaff. Mr J. S. Welsman inserts an advertisement in reference to his branch establishment, the Pharmacy, Omahu-road, Hastngs. Jacob Faithful quotes Shakespeare, and misapplies the Divine Williams' words to his (Jacob Faithful's) consultation on the Hawke'a Bay Handicap, which will close shortly. Messrs Neal and Close change their advertisement over the leader. Professor A. E. and Mrs Rice will shortly appear in Napier in their hyperion entertainment, some particulars of which are given in the advertisement. The Hawke's Say Weekly Courier, published yesterday, contains the monthly summary for the San Francisco mail, which closes at the Napier post-office at 11.30 this morning. The Courier is the only weekly newspaper published in Hawke'a Bay. Several new advertisements of vacant situations are inserted in the " wanted " column on the front page.
