It is effectual in warding off the attacks of the Maggot Fly, that are so troublesome in Woodland and Mountainous Districts during the Summer and Autximn Months. A.t the lequeßt of numerous friends in New Zealand, preferring a foiaonous Cold Water Dip to a Non- Poisonous one, we have been induced to Manufacture ONE SPECIALLY ADAPTED TO MEET THE EEQUIttifIMENIS OF NEW ZEALAND. And the mode of Dipping with Cold Wafcer alone, Hot Water being so difficult to procure on the large Sheep Euns in sufficient quantities for Dipping purposes. Although we strongly recommend our Non-Poisonous <l Glycerine Dip," in preference to a Poisonous one for increasing the growth and quality of the Wool, and for all the other purposes requited of a Sheep Dip when it can be used according to directions, and the Sheep allowed to remain in the Bath the required time ; we can, on introducing our "Lincoln Sheep lip" (Poisonous) to the notice of New Zealand Sheepf armors, confidently recommend it as being one of the most efficacious for the various purposes before mentioned, And for keeping the Sheep clean for a longer period than has been attained by any other make of Sheep Dip. This Dip has been thoroughly tested, and proved to be exceedingly officacious and durable in the Wool. Gentlemen,— l have much pleasure in stating the " Glycerine Dip" you supplied me with has given satisfaction, and consider that if used according to the directions given that it is a cure for scab. Some 30 sheep selected by Mr Inspector Drummond and dipped in his presence were experimented on, about 20 days after the dipping Mr Inspector Vallance examined these sheep and found all but three cured. A second dip was then given, and after an interval of about 15 days find all are perfectly cured. The mixture was used COLD strength one part Glycerine to 20 parts water, the sheep being kept in about one minute. THE WOOL IS IN GOOD ORDER. Gentlemen,— We have used your " Glycerine Dip " on our flock for the last nine years, and find it very efficacious in destroying Ticks, Lice, and curing all other skin diseases, and superior to any other Dip. It also gives the wool a beautiful appearance. I find that stock thrive better and are healthier after this Dip than any other.
