Mails Close at the Chief Post Office as follows :— For Wellington, Southern provinces, and Australian colonies, per s.s. Rangatira, this day, at 10 a.m. For Wellington and Southern ports, per s.s. Hawea, this day, at 8 p.m. For Wellington, Southern provinces, and Australian Colonies, per s.s. Kiwi, on Monday, 13th instant, at 10 a.m. ' For Fiji, Sandwich Islands, America, West Indies, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via San Francisco, on Saturday, the 26th inst., at 9 p.m. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, &c, via Suez and Brindisi, by every opportunity to Wellington, where the mails close on Friday, the 31st inst., about 1 p.m. For Tauranga, Auckland, &c, via Taupo by coach, every Tuesday, at 4.30 p.m. For the undermentioned places every Monday and Thursday at 6.30 a.m. :— Clive, Hastings, Havelock, Te Aute, Kaikora, Waipawa, Waipukurau, Danevirk, Norsewood, Tahoraite, Woodville, Foxton, Palmerston, Wantranui, Taranaki, Wellington and Southern Provinces, Sic, Wallingford, Porangahau, Wainui, and Castle Point.
