H.R.H. THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH.

We learn by telegram that. His Excellency has received letters from the Prince| to the effect that the Galatea would leave £|ydney on the Ist April (Thursday next) and reach Wellington on the 6th or 7th. We understand also, that the time the Duke can devote to New Zealand has beeu shortened from eight to five weeks, which will prevent him from seeing many parts of the colony he would otherwise have visited.
