Feiday, October 27. ' i (Before J. O.L. Carter, Esq., J.P., and M. Fitzi.' gerald, Esq., J.P.) .: Breach of tlie Peace. — Edward Bryori, and, Edward Bennett, both of the Eastern Spit, OSTa* • pier, were brought up by Corporal Eghan on a charge of making a disturbance on that day. Both parties were bound ,over to keep the peace for 6 months, , themselves in £10 each, and two sureties in £5 each. - Monday, October 20. Drunkenness. — Frederick Algar -was charged with this offence — case dismissed. John Moor, out on bail, made no appear'ence, and his bail (£l) ordered to be forfeited. Insurlordinate Seamen. — John Pedrick and William Loudon, seamen belonging "to the Isabella, schooner, were charged by the master of that vessel with disobedience of his lawful commands. The men had shipped to work their passage, one of them paying 30s. .as- well, but there was no written agreement. They said that the vessel was rotten, and that it was not safe to go to sea in her.- Capt. Curling said that the case could not come under the Shipping Act, but he would treat it as a breach of contract. Pedrick was ordered to pay £2 to the master, or be imprisoned in default .for eight clays ; Loudon to pay 10s., or be xm- n prisoned for three. The men agreed to go on board.
