Commercial Intelligence. NAPIER, FRIDAY, MAY 17, 1861.

At Mr. Danvers' Sale at Clive on Wednesday" last, he reports the attendance. of buyers to have been good, considering the unfavorable state of the weather. A 3 year old colt was knocked down at £16 ; horse, saddle, and bridle, £20 10s ; and several yearlings from £10 upwards. A number of cattle were driven in, but the demand was principally for good dairy cows in full milk, of which there was but a limited supply. At the stores of Messrs. Boddington & Barnaby, a great quantity of goods were sold at full rates. Mr. Danvers also quotes the market price of young ewes at 21s. per head — correcting the statement in last week's paper concerning the great increase in price reported to have taken place.'
