MONARCH OF 30,000 PEOPLE EN ROUTE TO AUSTRALIA (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, To-day. Constitutional monarch of 30,000 people, Queen Salote Tubou, of Tonga, arrived by the Monowai to-day and will remain three days before going to Sydney. She was given a tumultuous farewell at Nukualofa, with 1000 of her subjects on the wharf singing, dancing and cheering. She will spend two months in Australia and will attend the centenary celebrations of the Methodist Church of Victoria at Melbourne. Her visit to New Zealand is unofficial.
