PEDIGREE EGGS

ORDER SENT TO SYDNEY. AIR MAIL CONSIGNMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 23. A rather unusual service was rendered by the Wellington office of a stock and station agency firm to-day when 27 pedigree eggs were forwarded from D. Walker, Tiakitahuna, to P. P. Pinney, Sydney, by the Makura. The eggs are those of Rhode Island Red fowls imported from England, and Mr Walker expects to ship a further number to Australia in the near future. Mr Finney was the first Australian to receive a parcel of eggs by London air mail. These eggs were 'consigned by Lord Greenaway and arrived in good order and condition at Sydney.
