MOTOR JIGGERS COLLIDE
Three Persons Injured on Tuatapere Branch Line ONE HAS LEG AMPUTATED TWO ESCAPE UNHURT (By Telegraph—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, To-day. Two motor jiggers came into collision on the Tuatapere branch line late on Saturday nighf, with the result that John Stenton, of Tewaiwae, a surfaceman, received a Teg injury, necessitating its amputation at the Riverton Hospital. Mrs Jackson, wife of a guard stationed at who was tx passenger on ous jigger, received injuries to her hear?, nnd Mr 11. Jackson himself received slight concussion. Two travellers on the other jigger escaped injury.
