PATEA DOMAIN BOARD

MONTHLY MEETING (From Our Own Correspondent.) The monthly meeting of the Patea Domain Board was held on Friday, Mr E. F. Hemingway presiding. Messrs F. Ramsbottom, J. Cunningham, T. E. Roberts, L. W. Austin and the secretary (Mr M. Fairweatlier) were also present. Mr Ft. Rapps’ resignation as a member of the board, owing to his departure from the district, was received with regret. A public meeting will be held for the purpose of electing another member to the board in his place. The caretaker’s report stated that the miniature rifle club had commenced its season and would be using the domain shed on Monday nights, the shed now being in use every night excepting Saturday. A tree had been blown down in the last gale but otherwise the grounds were in good order.
