GAOL WITH HARD LABOUR
FICTITIOUS- ADVERTISEMENT ORDERS. (By Telegrapn—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, To-day. Twelve months’ hard labour was the sentence imposed by Mr Luxford, S.M.. on Botterill, who pleaded guilty yesterday to obtaining £45 14s by fraudulently representing that orders obtained for advertisements in the Auckland motorists’ handy guide were genuine ones.
