Braddock Will Not Defend Title Till Next Year BAER=SCHMELING NEXT ELIMINATION BOUT (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright). Received 2.30 p.m. to-day. NEW YORK, .Tunc 14. Braddock has agreed to defend the title at Madison Scpiare Garden against Max Schmeling in the summer of 2036, thus eliminating any chance of a championship bout in September. Promoter Johnson said that Max Baer would be offered a bout with Schmeling in September and, if he was victorious, ho would be substituted foi the German in the return bout with Braddock.
The boxing pr.omoter, Mike Jacobs, 'at the 20th Century Club, announced that Max Baer had agreed to fight in September the winner of a mutch on June 26, between Joe Louis (Detroit), a.negro, and Primo Camera.
